Modern Warfare 3 Updates Weekly Playlists with New Team Gunfight and Classic MW2 Maps

New gaming experiences await fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as the game readies to launch fresh playlists later in the week. Players will be treated to the novel Team Gunfight and a nostalgic indulgence with the Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit.

Modern Warfare 3 has a tradition of refreshing its rotational playlists on a weekly basis, providing players with diverse ways to engage with the game. While some additions tend to be familiar variants like Rust 24/7, there are also instances where entirely original game modes are introduced. An example was the Vortex playlist, now retired, which saw a unique twist on the Free for All mode and a zombified reskin of several Modern Warfare 3 maps. Although the upcoming playlists may be less extensive, they are poised to delight players who have their favorite Call of Duty game modes.

Come Wednesday, January 24, Modern Warfare 3 plans to enhance its weekly playlists with the inclusion of Team Gunfight and Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit. Team Gunfight pits two squads of six against one another across standard Multiplayer maps, embracing Gunfight's distinctive one-life and no auto-health regeneration rulesets. Moreover, players are given identical weapons that change periodically throughout the match, compelling them to adapt tactically. Dedicated Gunfight enthusiasts will now have another variation of the mode to savor. The Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit opens up the opportunity for players to re-engage with celebrated maps from the series' previous installment. Initially introduced briefly post-launch, it featured locations like Farm 18 and Shoot House, though it's uncertain if these maps will reappear or be replaced by other popular ones such as Breenbergh Hotel or Al Bagra Fortress.

Upcoming Modern Warfare 3 Playlists as of January 24

- Team Gunfight
- Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit

While the exact map selection for the Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit remains under wraps, fans eagerly speculate on potential returns or exciting additions to the week’s lineup.

In the wake of last week's problematic update that brought several major bugs to Warzone and Multiplayer modes, Modern Warfare 3 enthusiasts are hoping for smoother gameplay experiences. In response, Call of Duty developers have released subsequent patches addressing many of the previously encountered issues, although some glitches still persist in the game.
