Overwatch 2: Brigitte Ult Reworked for a More Balanced Gameplay

Blizzard Entertainment has just released a major rework of Brigitte's ultimate in Overwatch 2. The changes are meant to make the game more balanced, as well as provide players with more tactical options when playing as Brigitte.

Brigitte's new ultimate, Rivet Shield, is a deployable shield that blocks incoming attacks from the front and provides a shield for Brigitte and her nearby allies. The shield can be used to protect herself and her allies from enemy fire, as well as provide cover for allies who are trying to reach cover or escape. Additionally, Brigitte can now use her new E ability, Whip Shot, to stun enemies and knock them back.

The second part of Brigitte's rework is the addition of a new passive ability called Inspire. Whenever Brigitte uses her abilities, nearby allies will gain an armor bonus, allowing them to survive enemy fire better. This will help Brigitte stay alive and protect her allies in the midst of battle. In addition, Brigitte's Repair Pack ability has been tweaked to provide an armor bonus to allies who pick up the pack.

Finally, Brigitte's ultimate has also been tweaked. The Ultimate now has a longer cooldown and reduced duration, making it harder to use in quick succession. This will force players to think more strategically when using Brigitte's Ultimate, as they will have to plan their use of the Ultimate accordingly.

The rework of Brigitte's Ultimate in Overwatch 2 is a welcome change, as it will make the game more balanced and provide players with more tactical options. Brigitte is now a much more versatile hero, able to protect her allies and provide them with an armor bonus while also being able to stun and knock back enemies.
